Question

Hi! I was just wondering if any of you have a Bitty Baby that was purchased in the past 6 mo to a year and if so what is on the back of the neck.
I just bought a blue eyed blonde off ebay and she has 14 3F 03
Is this what the newer Bittys have on their neck?
I was told the doll was purchased brand new in October and never played with and in excellent condition, but she has lots of rubs and scuffs and shiny spots and white paint or something on her arm and leg. I did get the paint off and lightened the dark rubs. None of this would be a big deal but I paid 31 for her, with shipping I would have paid 41, so almost brand new price(esp with free shipping) The person I bought from was brand new to ebay and obviously didn't know to list the rubs and scuffs, but I thought she would be in brand new condition as "she was only taken out of the box at the party"
She doesn't have her cloth diaper, the lady had put a diaper in the box, but it is huge and plastic, definately not Bittys and no book for Bitty Bear and Bear doesn't have the ribbon. Oh, well, live and learn!!
But if you could just tell me what is on the back of newer dolls necks I would appreciate it.
Also what does the cloth diaper look like? Does it say Bitty Baby?
Cassie's first reaction was " she is really dirty!!!" This was after I cleaned her up!!!
She had snotty crust on her and dirt!!!
In this case I should have went brand new!!!

The diaper is a soft almost velour or fleece type of white fabric and it fastens with velcro. There is no tag on the diaper.

Our Bitty is about 4 years old and says Pleasant Company 22H9 on the neck.

Thanks!!! I love Bitty, but honestly, I had Nicole grab hers that is very old( I bought from a garage sale for $1.00) but she has the very light, light, eyelashes and her head is in much better shape!!! Not what I expected, I thought the doll have never been played with and was minty!!!!
I notice that the older Bittys head is chubbier and a little bigger than the newer one.

I am sorry it worked out like that. Did you try Magic Eraser on the scuffs? I hope you grow to love her, even if her adoption fee was a bit excessive.

Hi AmericanMommy!! I did lighten the rubs, the scuffs are like scratches I guess, not sure how to describe differently, but It is like she was scuffed up like a shoe, not colored marks, as I consider the rubs, but like large scratches. Does magic eraser do anything for these? If so, I am going to go buy one now!!!
Has anyone tried the new improved version of magic eraser??

I have purchased 2 African American BB and 2 Asian BB this past year. I have them wigged as BT. The African American BB just have Pleasant Company on the back of their necks. The Asian ones have Pleasant Company and 11C 03. The diaper is just white flanel fabric with Velcro closures.
